Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design and construction management for building and infrastructure projects including rehabilitation, new builds, and multi-site developments
  • Provide technical guidance on HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and air distribution systems, equipment selection, and automatic temperature controls
  • Develop design concepts, construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and phased implementation plans
  • Conduct field inspections, surveys, and quality assurance/quality control reviews to ensure design compliance
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Prepare technical reports, visualizations, calculations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee project budgets, scheduling, and performance of cross-functional teams
  • Incorporate advanced technologies, load calculations, and future-ready design strategies

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred
  • PE license required
  • 7–10 years of relevant mechanical design and project experience
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, mechanical engineering principles, and infrastructure systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, CAM, load calculations, and discipline-specific design software
  • Experience with complex rehabilitation, new construction, and large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; able to mentor junior staff
