Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and construction management for building and infrastructure projects including rehabilitation, new builds, and multi-site developments
- Provide technical guidance on HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and air distribution systems, equipment selection, and automatic temperature controls
- Develop design concepts, construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and phased implementation plans
- Conduct field inspections, surveys, and quality assurance/quality control reviews to ensure design compliance
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Prepare technical reports, visualizations, calculations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee project budgets, scheduling, and performance of cross-functional teams
- Incorporate advanced technologies, load calculations, and future-ready design strategies
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master’s preferred
- PE license required
- 7–10 years of relevant mechanical design and project experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes, mechanical engineering principles, and infrastructure systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD, CAM, load calculations, and discipline-specific design software
- Experience with complex rehabilitation, new construction, and large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; able to mentor junior staff
