Senior HVAC Engineer / Project Manager
AGILE’s Client is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer / Project Manager with 8+ years of progressive HVAC engineering and project management experience, ideally based in the Greater NYC area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking MEP design firm known for innovation across education, healthcare, hospitality, and other key market sectors. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver complex HVAC projects across the firm’s key markets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HVAC design and project delivery across a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial facilities
- Collaborate closely with firm Principals to develop project strategies, design solutions, and business development initiatives
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery
- Mentor and develop junior staff to enhance team capabilities and support career growth
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices
- Participate in design reviews, quality control, and coordination with other disciplines
Key Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years HVAC engineering experience with strong project management exposure
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
- Experience with relevant design software and tools
