Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical designs per department and client standards
- Design electrical distribution systems, lighting layouts, circuitry, and controls
- Apply knowledge of emergency systems including generators, ATS, and lighting inverters
- Develop load calculations, voltage drop studies, and ComCheckEZ compliance
- Create one-line diagrams in SKM and conduct short circuit/coordination studies
- Utilize Revit to model electrical system components and ensure integrated solutions with project teams
- Collaborate with architects, civil, and mechanical engineers on large-scale projects
- Conduct site surveys and prepare specifications/documentation as needed
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience
- PE license preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, and IECC codes
- Proficiency in Revit, Word, Excel (SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC a plus)
- LEED accreditation helpful
- Strong analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills
