Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and design work, drafting plans and implementing approved system concepts from schematics to floor plans
- Sketch rough layouts for review with Project Engineer or Project Manager
- Review product cut sheets and technical information
- Communicate potential issues with Project Manager/Project Engineer
- Meet with vendors to determine spatial requirements for products
- Attend project meetings as required
- Submit required documentation per project deadlines and milestones
- Assist in the development of engineering system concepts (M/E)
- Support the design team on major design issues
- Organize technical correspondence, emails, and calculations
- Perform fieldwork and verify existing conditions
- Revit and AutoCAD proficiency required
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- EIT required; PE license preferred
- 5–10 years of experience in healthcare and/or institutional design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirements
- Positive, results-driven, and team-oriented mindset
- Able to think three-dimensionally and perform fieldwork
- Effective time management to meet deadlines
