Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical engineering staff to develop concepts, strategies, construction documents, and reports.
- Provide technical leadership for large-scale, multi-discipline projects including HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and fire protection systems.
- Lead client-facing discussions by evaluating design options, performing cost-benefit analyses, and presenting technical recommendations.
- Direct project teams to meet goals while ensuring quality and schedule performance.
- Prepare proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Maintain strong client relationships and represent the firm at meetings.
- Manage project financial performance and schedules.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with an A/E services firm (preferred).
- New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design.
- Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver quality results under pressure.
