Mechanical Project Engineer
AGILE’s Client, a leading full-service MEP engineering firm, is hiring a Mechanical Project Engineer in Rochester, NY. Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Work with Principals, Associates, and Senior Engineers to clarify project scope and deliverables.
- Supervise and guide Designers and CAD Operators on project tasks.
- Prepare project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Establish project design concepts, criteria, and scope.
- Perform engineering computations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Coordinate with trades, architects, and clients.
- Review shop drawings and recommend improvements to firm standards.
- Ensure accuracy of designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide leadership and oversight throughout all phases of project work.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred; E.I.T. working toward licensure considered.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with responsibility for project design.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and construction coordination.
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate design teams.
