AGILE’s Client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Electrical Design team in New York City. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects across high-rise residential, hotel, office, and institutional markets. You’ll play a key role in design leadership, client interface, and cross-discipline coordination while advancing innovative, sustainable building systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate system concepts and options to deliver the best engineering solutions for high-performance building projects
- Prepare design drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations for electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems
- Lead and coordinate with engineers, designers, and technical staff
- Interface directly with clients to review and adjust designs and specifications
- Collaborate with architects, structural, and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless project integration
- Manage design budgets, monitor scope changes, and provide updates to leadership
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Promote continuous professional development and knowledge sharing
- Work safely and report any health and safety concerns
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering design
- Strong knowledge of code compliance and industry standards
- Advanced technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
- Project management and client relationship management experience strongly desired
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
