Senior Electrical Engineer, PE
AGILE’s Client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic Electrical Design team in New York City. This is a full-time, in-office role supporting a broad portfolio of exciting projects including luxury high-rise residential condos, hotels, retail chains, museums, and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong project management skills, leadership experience, and expertise in electrical service, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical, fire alarm, and low voltage (communications, audio/visual, security) systems from concept through construction documents
- Manage all phases of design including schematics, detailed design, and construction administration
- Collaborate with clients to develop project scope and requirements
- Conduct surveys of existing building conditions and prepare comprehensive reports and drawings
- Develop project specifications and coordinate with utility providers and other disciplines
- Ensure compliance with NYC filing requirements and procedures
- Oversee construction administration including review of submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders
- Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers and designers
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical service & power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- LEED Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Building & Energy Codes, NEC, NFPA requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Proven project management experience and leadership ability
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to comply with NYC Vaccination Mandate (all employees must be vaccinated)
