Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects
- Conduct site surveys of existing HVAC systems
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Prepare mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Select equipment including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and fans
- Review and approve contractor shop drawings
- Respond to RFIs and review change orders
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with MEP consulting firms
- Proven experience designing HVAC systems
- Ability to review and approve contractor shop drawings
- Strong technical literacy with the ability to interpret professional journals and procedures
- Skilled in report writing, business correspondence, and presenting technical information to management
- Must be willing to work on-site and be eligible to work in the U.S.
