Key Responsibilities
- Design building electrical distribution, fire alarm, and security systems
- Prepare calculations for feeders, services, short circuits, and transformer sizing
- Conduct on-site surveys of existing electrical equipment
- Develop schedules and details for projects and review with project engineer
- Attend job meetings and coordinate with project teams
- Assist in preparing reports and feasibility studies
- Support development of electrical standards and best practices
Key Qualifications
- 15+ years experience designing electrical power distribution, fire alarm systems, interior/exterior lighting, and lighting controls
- Knowledge of short circuits, arc flash coordination, and photometric calculations
- Familiarity with applicable codes including energy conservation
- EIT certification strongly desired; PE license preferred
- LEED accreditation preferred
- Proficient in Revit with at least 3 years of professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
