Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems across all project phases
- Develop scope of work based on client meetings and preliminary assessments
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Specify and select electrical equipment and building systems components
- Analyze existing systems and provide recommendations for improvements
- Serve as both Project Manager and Technical Lead on multiple concurrent projects
- Coordinate project documentation internally and externally with clients and design partners
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
- Minimum 10 years of relevant design experience, preferably with data centers, SCIF, or life sciences facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering design/calculation software
- PE license preferred
- Strong knowledge of building codes, design standards, and construction practices
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to interface effectively with clients
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
