Key Responsibilities
- Supervise plumbing and fire protection staff to develop design concepts, construction documents, and engineering reports.
- Provide leadership for multi-discipline projects including plumbing, process piping, and fire protection system design.
- Review and ensure compliance with codes for plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations using industry software tools.
- Lead technical discussions with clients, analyzing design options and cost-benefit comparisons to support decision-making.
- Direct project teams to achieve goals and maintain quality deliverables.
- Manage financial performance and schedules of assigned projects.
- Support business development efforts, including proposals and client relationship management.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a professional A/E services firm (preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in NY preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead teams, and deliver quality work under deadlines.
