Key Responsibilities
- Independently design and coordinate advanced plumbing and fire protection systems with minimal oversight
- Author complete specification sections and sequences of operation aligning performance, code, and constructability
- Lead field surveys, coordination meetings, QA/QC reviews, and construction administration
- Mentor junior and senior staff, guiding technical and professional growth
Key Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in plumbing and fire protection design for the built environment, with a track record leading complex, interdisciplinary scopes
- Deep fluency in plumbing and fire protection codes (IPC, UPC, NFPA standards, NYC Plumbing Code, NFPA 13/14/20)
- Mastery of load, flow, and pressure calculation methods and equipment selection/integration
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
