Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques and procedures.
- Work with Principals, Associates, and Senior Engineers to clarify scope and deliverables.
- Supervise and guide Designers and CAD Operators on active projects.
- Prepare project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Establish project design concepts, criteria, and scope requirements.
- Perform engineering computations and equipment selection/sizing.
- Coordinate with trades, architects, and clients.
- Review shop drawings and recommend improvements to firm standards.
- Ensure accuracy of designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide input on policies, standards, and best practices.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred; E.I.T. working toward licensure considered.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with responsibility for project design in plumbing/fire protection.
- Strong technical skills in system design and project execution.
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and mentor design teams.
