Senior Structures/Project Engineer (Bridge)
AGILE’s Client — a leading professional services firm with 60+ locations and 2,500+ professionals nationwide — is seeking a Senior Structures/Project Engineer (Bridge) to join its structures team in Fresno or Rancho Cordova, CA. The role covers design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other transportation structures, technical leadership across multidisciplinary project teams, and delivery of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages for Caltrans and local agency clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead design of bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other transportation structures to Caltrans and local agency standards
- Prepare Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages including calculations, quantities, and construction documentation
- Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating utility, right-of-way, and funding requirements
- Perform QA/QC reviews and prepare QA/QC checklist packages per internal standards
- Mentor and supervise junior structural staff
- Support proposal development, scopes, fees, and field/construction support services
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in bridge and retaining wall design
- California PE license preferred
- Experience with Caltrans and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications
- Proficiency with CTBridge, CSiBridge, or similar structural analysis software, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills
