Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee MEP activities throughout all phases of pre-construction
- Manage a team of 15+ engineers to ensure code compliance, client requirements, budgets, and schedules are met
- Communicate regularly with clients to address project needs and updates
- Apply applicable codes and standards to all MEP systems
- Conduct inspections and site surveys of existing conditions
- Perform local field visits in the NYC area as required
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant MEP/HVAC project management experience
- Experience with HVAC systems in multi-family and commercial buildings
- AutoCAD proficiency required; drafting work performed offshore
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local, state, and international building codes
- Commissioning experience desired
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) a plus
- Experience with NYC Department of Environmental Protection and NYC Department of Buildings
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication
