Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage MEP engineering projects from concept through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance
  • Serve as primary client contact; foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and fire protection disciplines
  • Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor profitability and manage risks
  • Oversee preparation of design drawings, technical specifications, permit applications, bid documents, and engineering reports
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements through QA/QC oversight
  • Conduct client and team project status meetings; resolve issues and design conflicts proactively
  • Support business development through proposals, presentations, and expanding client relationships
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Project leadership in industrial sectors (pharmaceutical, food processing, logistics, automotive, advanced manufacturing)
  • Experience managing large-scale mechanical/electrical systems and process utilities
  • Strong ability to engage clients as an owner’s representative; deliver tailored solutions
  • Vendor and contract negotiation experience
  • PMP, LEED, or Six Sigma credentials preferred

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project/Operations Management, or related field preferred (equivalent industry experience considered)
  • 5–8 years of experience managing MEP projects, ideally in commercial or industrial facilities
  • Proven experience with project delivery, client management, and risk management
  • Strong technical understanding of building systems design and construction processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills
