Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage MEP engineering projects from concept through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance
- Serve as primary client contact; foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and fire protection disciplines
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules; monitor profitability and manage risks
- Oversee preparation of design drawings, technical specifications, permit applications, bid documents, and engineering reports
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements through QA/QC oversight
- Conduct client and team project status meetings; resolve issues and design conflicts proactively
- Support business development through proposals, presentations, and expanding client relationships
- Preferred Experience:
- Project leadership in industrial sectors (pharmaceutical, food processing, logistics, automotive, advanced manufacturing)
- Experience managing large-scale mechanical/electrical systems and process utilities
- Strong ability to engage clients as an owner’s representative; deliver tailored solutions
- Vendor and contract negotiation experience
- PMP, LEED, or Six Sigma credentials preferred
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project/Operations Management, or related field preferred (equivalent industry experience considered)
- 5–8 years of experience managing MEP projects, ideally in commercial or industrial facilities
- Proven experience with project delivery, client management, and risk management
- Strong technical understanding of building systems design and construction processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills
