Key Responsibilities
- Provide electrical system design, including medium and low voltage utilities, power distribution, and lighting
- Develop and draft design basis documents
- Perform short-circuit, load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, circuit ampacity, and conduit fill calculations
- Prepare detailed specifications, contract drawings, and bid packages
- Communicate technical findings and present integrated solutions to clients through reports and presentations
- Collaborate closely with design teams to ensure coordinated project delivery
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
- 10–15 years of electrical design experience with utility switchgear, equipment design, operation, and electrical systems in industrial, municipal, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing facilities
- Experience with short-circuit, load flow, voltage drop, arc flash, conduit fill, and equipment clearance calculations
- Proficiency with electrical system modeling software such as SKM or ETAP preferred
- PE license in progress preferred
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects
