Key Responsibilities
- Plan and distribute engineering tasks within the team while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Contribute to proposal preparation, scope of work, and level-of-effort planning
- Review and validate the technical work of the team
- Mentor staff and guide project execution toward objectives
- Coordinate technical aspects with clients and other project partners
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Recruit, hire, and develop staff; oversee performance evaluations and succession planning
- Approve timecards and manage team scheduling
- Perform other duties as required
Key Qualifications
- 5-15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience in power and communications infrastructure design
- Experience leading projects including street lighting, traffic signals, area lighting, pedestrian lighting, aesthetic lighting, and related electrical systems
- Strong collaboration skills for multi-discipline projects across multiple locations
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field
