Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and design electrical projects in compliance with industry codes and standards
- Mentor and support the development of junior-level staff
- Prepare proposals and participate in the submission process
- Oversee construction administration, including review of shop drawings and RFIs
- Perform electrical design calculations (loads, equipment sizing, feeders, voltage drop, etc.)
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and owners throughout all project phases
- Support project development, reports, and technical presentations
- Conduct site observations as needed
- Manage multiple assignments, scope, budgets, and schedules with minimal supervision
- Deliver design solutions across education, higher ed, commercial, industrial, multi-family housing, and specialty projects (parks, recreation, worship facilities)
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- PE license (NJ & NY preferred)
- 6+ years relevant work experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus
- Knowledge of NFPA, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, and equipment standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license; power analysis software experience a plus
