Key Responsibilities
- Produce complete electrical systems design drawings in accordance with code
- Collaborate on complex engineering problems including conflicting design requirements and coordination challenges
- Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors through clear verbal and written communication
- Confer with engineers and other personnel to meet project deadlines
- Design and specify system components to ensure project goals and requirements are met
- Apply engineering principles to research, design, and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; PE preferred
- 4+ years of electrical system design experience
- Working knowledge of building codes, engineering drafting standards, and electrical engineering standards
- Understanding of the construction process and ability to interpret construction drawings
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems with ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
