Senior Electrical Designer

They are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to take on advanced technical design and project leadership responsibilities in their NYC office.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design including power distribution, lighting, and emergency/standby power.
- Develop layouts, calculations, schematics, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NYC Building Codes, and energy standards.
- Participate in field surveys, construction administration, and shop drawing reviews.
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on technical development.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to meet project schedules and goals.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PE preferred).
- 4+ years of professional electrical design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NYC codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; proven ability to manage deadlines.
- Client-facing presence with the ability to represent the firm in meetings.
