Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to company technical policies and procedures on all assigned projects
- Develop design approaches and engineering solutions with guidance from senior staff
- Provide engineering design for systems of low to moderate complexity
- Delegate tasks to designers and CAD operators; monitor work for accuracy
- Assist in technical training programs for design staff
- Support proposal and client presentation development as requested
- Provide feedback to Project Managers for performance evaluations
- Coordinate project designs with other disciplines and attend project meetings
- Perform engineering studies, design analyses, cost estimates, and schedule planning
- Review shop drawings, coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients
- Perform on-site inspections during construction and coordinate design requirements
- Use design software to prepare engineering and design documents
- Participate in professional organizations and client groups to enhance technical reputation
Key Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience in healthcare projects preferred but not required
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and mentor junior staff
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
