Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including fire alarm, lighting, controls, and low-voltage systems
- Apply NEC, NFPA-72, Energy Code, and IBC standards in all design work
- Prepare and review AutoCAD drawings; Revit MEP experience preferred
- Support project proposals by defining scope of work and budgets
- Manage deadlines while ensuring accuracy and quality in design deliverables
- Conduct site visits, coordinate with clients and project teams, and contribute to MEP project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge across the department
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership on project strategy and execution
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering (required)
- 2+ years of experience in electrical systems design (MEP project experience a plus)
- EIT preferred; PE license is a strong plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit MEP experience preferred
- Knowledge of building codes, electrical standards, and construction documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
