Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for new construction and renovations (power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, telecom/low-voltage)
- Support proposals by defining project scope and budget
- Perform design calculations and apply NEC, Energy Code, and IBC standards
- Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD; Revit MEP experience preferred
- Deliver quality design documentation on schedule
- Collaborate across disciplines and with clients, contractors, and architects
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
- EIT required; PE preferred
- 3–15 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP a plus
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and building standards
- Commitment to continuous learning and taking on new responsibilities
