Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical engineering projects through all phases: program, schematic, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction.
- Independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques and procedures to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with Principals, Associates, and Project Managers to finalize project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers and designers, assigning tasks to meet deadlines.
- Prepare reports, studies, and system analyses.
- Review and recommend substitute equipment, and evaluate final system adjustments after installation.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, coordinating across all trades.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and designers to build technical and leadership capacity.
- Provide input to improve design standards and project delivery.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred; E.I.T. working toward licensure considered.
- Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience, including responsibility for project design.
- Proven ability to manage project teams, client relationships, and complex technical challenges.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with mentoring experience.
