Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical power design for hospitals, laboratories, high-rise residential, hotel, office, and other commercial/institutional projects
- Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
- Perform service load calculations and short circuit studies
- Meet project schedules and work within budgetary constraints
- Attend client and architect meetings to review and discuss projects
- Review submittals and provide responses to RFIs
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and internal procedures
- Maintain professional development and up-to-date discipline knowledge
- Work safely and report any safety concerns
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–10 years of experience in design of building power systems (healthcare, residential, commercial, institutional, hotel, and office)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit software
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a collaborative environment
- PE license preferred; EIT with ability to obtain PE considered
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
