Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering for multi-discipline projects through proposal, design, bidding, and construction phases.
- Interact closely with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers, as well as project architects.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance across project deliverables.
- Delegate and monitor project tasks for junior team members.
- Conduct building condition assessments and prepare technical reports.
- Represent the firm in meetings with internal and external clients.
- Develop design concepts, strategies, drawings, specifications, and reports.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Minimum 10 years of experience with an A/E consulting firm (required).
- New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- Experience with electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, utilities, communications, security, and fire alarm systems.
- AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-discipline teams.
