Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and design of state and local transportation infrastructure — roadway alignments, intersections, interchanges, utilities, drainage, and stormwater management
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Colorado transportation market, including new client and project development
- Build and lead a production team as the department's internal and external growth leader
- Prepare contract documents and coordinate across disciplines, sub-consultants, and CDOT review staff
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent engagements
- Support expansion into the broader Western Region transportation market, including California
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Colorado PE license required
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads
- Working knowledge of CDOT Design Manuals and Specifications; CDOT experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic growth plan
- Strong client, sub-consultant, and multidisciplinary coordination skills
