Key Responsibilities
- Serve as project engineer — and project manager on smaller assignments — for municipal water and wastewater planning, design, and construction projects
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation/controls engineers, drafters, and subconsultants
- Perform data analysis, system modeling, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities
- Conduct field work including site walks, dimension verification, and condition assessments
- Prepare bid documents, specifications, reports, and calculations, and review the design of others
- Support permitting, easement, and right-of-way documentation and approvals
- Support proposal development, scope, pricing, and project execution planning
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering (Master’s a plus)
- Colorado PE license required
- 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design, including large diameter pipelines, pump/lift stations, or water/wastewater treatment facilities
- Proven track record delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills
