Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical systems design, layout, and technical coordination across multiple project phases
  • Perform electrical engineering calculations, single line diagrams, equipment sizing, and short circuit analysis
  • Support lighting, power distribution, and advanced electrical systems design efforts
  • Oversee QA/QC reviews and technical correctness of engineering deliverables
  • Serve as Engineer of Record on applicable projects requiring signed and sealed drawings
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and technical documentation
  • Conduct field surveys, attend pre-bid meetings, and support construction administration activities
  • Provide mentorship, training, and technical direction to junior engineering staff
  • Support proposal development, client management, and overall project execution efforts

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Approximately 12–15 years of progressive Building Systems / MEP Consulting experience
  • Strong background with power distribution, lighting, and electrical systems design
  • Experience managing and executing complex multidisciplinary engineering projects
  • Professional Engineering licensure required
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling environments
  • Knowledge of NEC, IBC, NFPA, and related codes and standards
  • Experience with electrical load analysis and lighting software tools
  • Knowledge of LEED standards is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and technical documentation abilities
