Key Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of HVAC systems including air distribution systems, hydronic systems, mechanical equipment selection, and controls concepts
- Support Energy Modeling and Life Cycle Cost Analysis efforts
- Design and coordinate plumbing systems and fire protection systems
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
- Oversee projects from design through construction administration
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff
- Assist with technical documentation, calculations, and project coordination
- Support communication with clients, architects, and consultants
- Contribute to high-quality engineering deliverables and project execution
- Support project management and technical leadership efforts
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 8+ years of Building Systems / MEP Consulting experience
- Background with HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection system design
- Experience with air distribution systems, hydronic systems, and equipment selection
- Professional Engineering licensure preferred
- Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities
