Senior Project Engineer, Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design on tenant fit-out projects; serve as key designer on base-building and infrastructure upgrades
• Assemble riser diagrams, schedules, and floor plans; participate in specification writing
• Establish design criteria from project proposals and prepare basis of design documents
• Deliver complete contract documents, including layouts for equipment rooms, closets, shafts, and risers
• Lead design of ancillary systems such as UPS, generators, fuel systems, secondary water pumps, and water reclamation systems
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, contractor change orders; perform site visits and punch lists with limited supervision
• Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and accountability for team deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers and hold project teams accountable for deadlines

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience
• Strong understanding of trade-specific scope, codes, and cross-discipline coordination
• Knowledge of documentation requirements for SD, DD, CD, and specifications
• Proficient in electrical design calculations and tools including Revit and AutoCAD
