Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead project engineer across new construction, renovation, and large-scale projects including offices, labs, data centers, residential, hospitality, museums, and government facilities
- Oversee the design of electrical power distribution, lighting, emergency/standby systems, and ensure NEC/IBC/IECC compliance
- Prepare specifications, one-lines, riser diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, and other key documentation
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, sustainability teams, as well as architects, contractors, and consultants
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and professional development
- Manage project deliverables, budgets, and schedules in conjunction with Managing Principals and Project Managers
- Conduct quality control reviews, conceptual design studies, site surveys, and construction administration (RFIs, shop drawings, field visits)
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 15+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project leadership
- PE license highly preferred
- Proficiency with NEC, IBC, and IECC codes
- Revit knowledge a plus (SKM, AGI 32, and AMPCALC 4 desired)
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
