Key Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC and mechanical design, including load calculations, system layouts, and equipment selection.
- Develop schematics, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Support construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and field observations.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, Florida Building Codes, and energy standards.
- Mentor junior staff and assist in Job Captain responsibilities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (PE license preferred).
- 4+ years of progressive mechanical design experience; HVAC focus required.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of codes, standards, and building systems design.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
