Senior Mechanical Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop HVAC and mechanical system designs, layouts, and schematics.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selections.
• Review shop drawings, oversee construction documents, and conduct site visits.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Act as Job Captain—owning quality control, schedules, and team deliverables.
• Mentor and train junior staff.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 6+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
