Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HVAC design with focus in healthcare, science, and technology projects
  • Perform system calculations, equipment selections, and design of boiler and chilled water plants, ductwork, and water distribution systems
  • Prepare construction documents and ensure alignment with codes and project goals
  • Collaborate across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection) on multi-discipline projects
  • Partner with Marketing on proposals and PowerPoint presentations, supporting business growth strategies
  • Review RFPs and develop proposals, providing technical insight and project leadership
  • Maintain existing client relationships while cultivating new partnerships, particularly in healthcare
  • Manage smaller projects independently while contributing to larger project delivery

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical discipline preferred)
  • Licensed PE strongly preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of HVAC design and project experience
  • Proven project management ability and familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Strong communication skills and client-facing presence
  • Commitment to sustainability and energy-efficient design highly preferred
  • Positive, engaging personality with sound judgment and decision-making skills
