AGILE’s Client is seeking a Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer to join their Boston team. This position offers the opportunity to design and deliver plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities while contributing to sustainable and innovative building solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare deliverables including calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems, including calculations for water, gas, sanitary/sewer, and storm loads
- Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures
- Contribute to project coordination and collaboration with cross-discipline teams
- Maintain professional development and technical expertise
- Work safely and report any safety concerns
- Perform additional duties as required
Key Qualifications
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of plumbing and fire protection design experience in commercial, institutional, or healthcare projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit preferred
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of codes and healthcare compliance requirements
- Project and client relationship management experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- PE license preferred in Massachusetts, or EIT with ability to obtain PE within a couple of years.
- Willingness and ability to travel
