Electrical Design Engineer
AGILE’s Client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for its Power & Infrastructure group in Voorhees, NJ. The role covers design of grid-connected power generation systems, microgrids, and medium voltage electrical infrastructure, with direct client and proposal development responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Design grid-connected power generation systems, including electrical single-line diagrams and grid interconnection applications
- Develop electrical equipment, materials, and installation specifications
- Perform calculations and analysis: short circuit, relay & breaker coordination, arc flash, grounding, and cable sizing
- Layout electrical equipment and route conduit, duct-bank, and cable systems
- Support construction in the office and field, including submittal review, testing, and commissioning
- Respond to Requests for Proposals and develop client and strategic relationships
- Participate in site surveys and inspections
Key Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- 5-10 years of professional experience with proven progression in engineering, particularly power or distributed generation
- Registered and active Professional Engineer license required
- Knowledge and experience engineering grid interconnection of power generation systems — internal combustion engines, combustion turbines, PV solar, battery energy storage
- Knowledge and experience with HV and MV substations connecting to the grid
- Experience with electric systems modeling software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, HOMER)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus
