AGILE’s Client is seeking a Controls Integration Engineer for its Power & Infrastructure group in Voorhees, NJ. The role covers control system design — PLC, DCS, and SCADA architectures — for microgrids, distributed generation, central utility plants, and water/wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform controls engineering design duties under the supervision of the Director of Electrical Engineering
- Design control system architecture consisting of PLC, DCS, and SCADA-based systems
- Design control system communication schemes, protocols, and cybersecurity requirements
- Specify control system requirements for power and utility equipment, including boilers, engine generators, pumping systems, and water/wastewater unit operations
- Develop control systems equipment, materials, installation specifications, and loop diagrams
- Evaluate control system integration proposals and review technical submittals
- Support construction in the office and field, including submittal review, testing, and commissioning
- Participate in site surveys and inspections
Key Qualifications
- BS in Engineering
- 5-10 years of professional experience with proven progression in engineering, particularly power or distributed generation
- Knowledge and experience engineering control systems for power stations, central utility plants, and water/wastewater plants
- Knowledge and experience with major PLC-based control systems (Rockwell, Schneider, etc.) and DCS systems (ABB, Emerson, GE, Honeywell, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience specifying grid-connecting switchgear and systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit experience a plus
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure a plus
