Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site/civil design — grading, roadway design, storm water management, and erosion and sediment control — using Civil 3D
  • Serve as project manager responsible for client relationship management
  • Prepare calculations, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Collaborate with and manage design teams to develop detailed construction documents
  • Conduct code research, write specifications, and support permitting
  • Mentor entry-level staff

Key Qualifications

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering required (Master’s preferred)
  • 6-10 years of experience
  • North Carolina PE license required
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, sub-consultants, and agency review staff
