Key Responsibilities
- Lead site/civil design — grading, roadway design, storm water management, and erosion and sediment control — using Civil 3D
- Serve as project manager responsible for client relationship management
- Prepare calculations, reports, and spreadsheets
- Collaborate with and manage design teams to develop detailed construction documents
- Conduct code research, write specifications, and support permitting
- Mentor entry-level staff
Key Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required (Master’s preferred)
- 6-10 years of experience
- North Carolina PE license required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, sub-consultants, and agency review staff
