Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare base files, plan exhibits, construction documentation, and detailed design drawings for land development and civil engineering projects
  • Produce and maintain AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings compiled into agency-ready construction drawing sets
  • Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, traffic consultants, and the broader project delivery team
  • Review engineering drawings for adherence to municipal specifications and standards
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards across the Civil/Land Development group
  • Mentor and provide quality review oversight for junior designers, delegating assignments to match skill level

Key Qualifications

  • Associate degree in drafting or engineering technology
  • 10+ years of experience as a CADD designer (AutoCAD Civil 3D), with land development experience
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D — surfaces, alignments, and profiles
  • Working knowledge of land development design concepts, including drainage, earthwork, streets, and utilities
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
