The role covers all phases of transportation projects for public and private sector clients, from planning and design through highway, interchange, and multi-modal facility delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and design of transportation projects — state highway work, interchanges, local roadways, multi-modal facilities, and complete streets
- Manage drainage systems, storm water management, and utility relocation coordination
- Prepare preliminary design and contract documents (PS&E) for public and private sector clients
- Coordinate with agency review staff, utilities, sub-consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships across concurrent projects
- Prepare technical reports, memoranda, and project documentation
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- California PE license required
- 12+ years of experience in transportation engineering design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MicroStation/OpenRoads
- Strong client management and multidisciplinary coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet budget/schedule requirements
