Senior Civil Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple civil engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams while coordinating with Structural, Geotechnical, Environmental, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
• Prepare and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical quality control.
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout project execution.
• Lead project meetings, coordinate with contractors, and perform field visits as needed.
• Support proposal preparation, project pursuits, and business development activities.
• Mentor and oversee junior and mid-level engineering staff.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Active New York Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
• 10 to 15 years of civil engineering design and project management experience.
• Extensive experience delivering projects for agencies such as NYSDOT, NYCDDC, NYCEDC, NYCDOT, NYCDEP, and NYCDPR.
• Strong understanding of AASHTO, MUTCD, stormwater design, SWPPP, MS4/USWR requirements, and applicable NYC Building Codes.
• Experience preparing project scopes, budgets, schedules, and engineering proposals.
• Working knowledge of permitting processes and agency design standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Civil 3D.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex public infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
• Clean driving record required.
• Preferred Experience:
• Design-Build project delivery.
• Additional Professional Engineer licenses in other states.
• NCEES Record.
• Experience supporting both public and private sector infrastructure projects.
