Key Responsibilities
- Design building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and low voltage systems
- Prepare electrical engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documentation
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to produce engineering plans and system layouts
- Coordinate electrical systems with internal multi discipline engineering teams
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and construction documentation
- Perform field surveys and evaluations of existing facilities
- Support projects throughout NY, NJ, and PA markets
- Participate in client coordination meetings and project discussions
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 5+ to 10 years of Building Systems Electrical Engineering experience
- Strong proficiency utilizing AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience designing commercial, healthcare, educational, industrial, or mission critical facilities
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environments
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer registration preferred
- Experience supporting multi discipline consulting projects
