Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical and HVAC systems design for healthcare and laboratory projects
- Support plumbing, fire protection, and critical care systems coordination
- Conduct load calculations and energy modeling studies
- Oversee QA/QC reviews and technical documentation
- Serve as Engineer of Record on applicable projects
- Conduct site surveys and construction administration activities
- Attend client meetings and multidisciplinary coordination sessions
- Support proposal development and project planning efforts
- Mentor junior engineering staff and project team members
- Support project execution, scheduling, and client management activities
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
- Professional Engineering licensure required
- Approximately 10+ years of Healthcare / Science & Technology Building Systems experience
- Strong background with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and critical care facility systems
- Experience supporting healthcare, laboratory, and life sciences projects
- Knowledge of NFPA, Joint Commission, FGI, AHJ, and related healthcare standards
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling environments
- Experience utilizing energy modeling and load analysis software platforms
- Strong project management, leadership, communication, and client coordination abilities
