Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical and HVAC systems design for healthcare and laboratory projects
  • Support plumbing, fire protection, and critical care systems coordination
  • Conduct load calculations and energy modeling studies
  • Oversee QA/QC reviews and technical documentation
  • Serve as Engineer of Record on applicable projects
  • Conduct site surveys and construction administration activities
  • Attend client meetings and multidisciplinary coordination sessions
  • Support proposal development and project planning efforts
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and project team members
  • Support project execution, scheduling, and client management activities

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
  • Professional Engineering licensure required
  • Approximately 10+ years of Healthcare / Science & Technology Building Systems experience
  • Strong background with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and critical care facility systems
  • Experience supporting healthcare, laboratory, and life sciences projects
  • Knowledge of NFPA, Joint Commission, FGI, AHJ, and related healthcare standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Building Information Modeling environments
  • Experience utilizing energy modeling and load analysis software platforms
  • Strong project management, leadership, communication, and client coordination abilities
