Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and institutional MEP markets
  • Leverage existing client and developer networks to build a robust project pipeline
  • Represent the firm at industry events and professional associations
  • Lead and review MEP engineering design and technical deliverables
  • Ensure code compliance and alignment with NYC laws and green building standards
  • Act as a technical authority for high-performance HVAC, lighting, and energy systems
  • Manage and mentor a distributed team of engineers and remote staff
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the MEP industry with significant NYC project work
  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field (Masters desired but not required)
  • Proven sales track record in securing and delivering MEP contracts
  • PE license desired but not required
  • Strong knowledge of NYC Local Laws 84, 87, 97, and green building compliance
  • Familiarity with energy audits, carbon compliance, and high-performance systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, energy modeling, or other simulation tools
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
  • Certifications such as LEED AP, CEM, or WELL desired but not required
