Mechanical Project Engineer
AGILE’s Client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their design practice in Chadds Ford, PA. This role involves leading the development of mechanical system designs and supporting multidisciplinary teams across aviation, transportation, educational, and institutional projects. The selected candidate will report directly to the Mechanical Practice Lead.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Project Engineer on HVAC and mechanical design assignments
- Coordinate project design efforts with cross-disciplinary teams
- Support estimation, planning, and constructibility evaluations
- Assist in preparing technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct field investigations and engineering studies
- Attend project meetings and serve as liaison to clients and design partners
- Monitor project progress to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Perform QA/QC reviews and technical accuracy assessments
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet company quality standards
- Coordinate resolution of project design and construction issues
- Assist in scope, budget, and schedule development
- Contribute to team meetings and produce meeting documentation
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Active NCEES account – Required
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical systems design
- PMP Certification – Preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with mechanical codes, standards, and building regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in HVAC design, multidisciplinary MEP coordination, and construction support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and deadlines
