Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design for tenant fit-out projects; contribute to base building/infrastructure upgrades
- Assemble riser diagrams, equipment schedules, floor plans, and participate in spec writing
- Establish design criteria and prepare basis of design documentation
- Develop contract documents for HVAC systems including equipment room layouts, shafts, and risers
- Lead ancillary system design (e.g., UPS, generators, water systems) and coordinate associated scope
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, manage change orders, and perform field visits and punch lists
- Contribute to scheduling and resource planning to meet project deadlines efficiently
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3–6 years of industry experience in HVAC design and project delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software
- Sound knowledge of trade-specific codes and interdisciplinary coordination
- Familiarity with documentation for SD, DD, CD, and spec phases
