Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering projects through program, schematic, design development, construction documents, bidding, and construction phases.
- Independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques and procedures.
- Collaborate with Principals, Associates, and Project Managers to finalize project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Supervise, coordinate, and review work of engineers and designers; assign tasks to meet deadlines.
- Develop reports, system studies, and technical analyses.
- Evaluate substitute equipment applications and review final system adjustments after installation.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, coordinating across trades as needed.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and designers to strengthen technical and leadership skills.
- Contribute to firm standards, policies, and quality improvements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred; E.I.T. actively working toward licensure considered.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering project design.
- Strong leadership and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and supervise project teams while managing client relationships.
